It is easily polished to a high luster, and it ensures wear rates similar to nature. This of course also facilitates excellent plaque resistance and gingival protection. The quartz glass used for HeraCeram is a synthetic product with a specially designed range of characteristics that enhances the opalescent effects of the ceramic.
